Meggie has come to the UK via Edinburgh and via Newcastle and London. She recently graduated from Edinburgh Napier University with a master of fine arts in directing. Recent directing credits include  the Offie Award Nominated, Prick by Laurie Flanigan Hegge at the Drayton Arms Theatre in London, January 2024 which premiered in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2023. Prick is a new play about the Scottish Witch trials. Directing credits with Persistent Theatre Production's include:  When We Were Young and Unafraid by Sarah Treem, the new play To Evaporate by Alyssa Brooke and The Basset Table by Susanna Centlivre.  In the states Meggie has directed and assistant directed with companies such as History Theatre, Gadfly Theatre, Theatre Unbound, Northern Starz Theatre, Workhaus Collective, Theatre Pro Rata, Mixed Blood Theatre, MN Fringe and more.  Meggie was also a co- playwright of the new work The Bernice Project which premiered as a part of the fledgling program at the Phoenix Arts Nest.  Visit here to learn more about Meggie: www.meggiegreivell.com
